Paleontologists and artists John Conway, C.M. Kosemen, Darren Naish, and Scott Hartman play with the space between “the observed” and “the imagined” in fossil reconstructions – sketching the skeletal morphology of their dinosaurs before adding a layer of playful inference in their final renderings.
The result? Beautiful, provocative watercolors igniting one’s inner paleo-enthusiast.
